A Celebration in Honor of Marilyn Ziering

Description

Please join us for an afternoon celebration in honor of Marilyn Ziering, founding supporter of the Colburn School’s Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices.

Over the last decade, this unprecedented program has been dedicated to the performance and study of music by composers whose careers and lives were destroyed by the Nazi regime. Maestro James Conlon, the Artistic Director of the Ziering-Conlon Initiative for Recovered Voices at the Colburn School, has long championed works by these composers and by so doing has drawn deserved attention to composers whose names and works had very nearly been eliminated from history.

This special event will feature performances by the exceptional students, alumni, and faculty of the Colburn School as well as remarks from Maestro James Conlon.

Can't make the event? If you are unable to attend this special event, and you would like to make a gift in honor of Marilyn Ziering, we invite you to contribute today in support of Recovered Voices. To donate, click here.
